KINGSTON – A man who burglarized his parents’ home as well as several others in Ulster County to bolster his dwindling cash supply, has had his appeal rejected by the Appellate Division of State Supreme Court.
Michael D’Alberto pled guilty in June 2013 to two felony counts of burglary for committing the crimes with an associate.  As a result, he was sentenced to consecutive 2 1/3 to seven year prison terms.
On appeal, he claimed his sentence was unduly harsh and excessive. The appeals court did not agree.
