SUNY Orange announces three presidential finalists

MIDDLETOWN – The three finalist candidates
for president of SUNY Orange were announced Monday. Dr. Edwin Knox, Dr.
Matthew Reed and Dr. Kristine Young have accepted the invitation to interview
for the college’s top job.

Knox most recently is the senior vice president/chief academic officer at Essex County College in Newark, NJ.
Reed is vice president for academic affairs at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, MA.
Young is vice president for academic services at Parkland College in Champaign, Ill.
Knox’s two-day interview is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, February 25-26.  Reed will visit the college on Monday and Tuesday, March 2-3.  Young will be interviewed on Wednesday and Thursday, March 4-5.
Dr. William Richards will retire at the conclusion of this academic year following 12 years at SUNY Orange.
