Man shot at Parksville gas station

PARKSVILLE – A man is in Catskill Regional Medical Center in critical but stable condition after he was shot through the glass door of a gas station in the hamlet of Parksville in the Town of Liberty Monday evening.
The suspect, Balsey Dewitt, 30, of Livingston Manor, was arrested shortly after the 6:35 p.m. incident when he fled from the Mobil Gas station on Cooley Place in Parksville.  State Police said Dewitt fired several rounds at a 31-yaer-old Livingston Manor man after both were apparently fighting over a woman.
State Police and Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies were on the scene investigating. The Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office also assisted in the investigation.
