Two arrested on forgery, stolen property charges

KINGSTON – Kingston police arrested
two men on charges that they used credit cards stolen from a car on Pine
Street to buy items at the Sunoco gas station at Broadway and Franklin
Street.
Marvin Parada, 28, of Washington Avenue in Kingston and a 17-year-old youth, are both charged with felony forgery and criminal possession of stolen property.  They were arrested on January 24.
The thefts occurred on January 13 and police posted surveillance photos on Facebook, leading to the pair being identified.  During the investigation into the forgeries, Parada was found to be in possession of a weapon – a pair of brass knuckles.
Parada and the teen were arraigned and released to appear in court at a later date.
