MONTICELLO – Two brothers from Monticello are in the Sullivan County Jail following a six-month investigating by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Michael Schiff called Frank Drayton, also known as “Vic,” 24, and Richard Drayton, 23, also known as “Longway,” “two heroin suppliers [who] were traveling all over Sullivan County making deliveries in a white Ford Crown Victoria with push bumpers on the front.” He said it looked like an unmarked police car.
The Draytons were brought to the attention of authorities after several complaints were received from residents about drug dealing in Jeffersonville. The suspects allegedly made deliveries to associates in the western part of the county in the morning and would then work the Monticello and Fallsburg areas in the afternoon.
Deputies arrested Frank Drayton on Tuesday after they executed a search warrant at 41 High School in Monticello. He was charged with several felonies involving drug possession and drug sales for selling heroin and crack cocaine and was sent to the county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Monticello. He was charged felony sale and possession of drugs, heroin,

the welfare of a child. He was also jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.
The sheriff gave credit for the investigation to his two lead investigators, Det. Sgts. Jason Gorr and Tom O’Connor. Also involved in the investigation were the district attorney’s office, Monticello and State Police as well as Homeland Security Investigations for assisting with the search warrant on Tuesday evening.
