Amadore takes the oath from The Honorable Vito Caruso,
of Rotterdam

ALBANY – State Senator George Amedore (R, 46) took the oath of office on Wednesday in a ceremony held in the Senate Chamber at the State Capitol.

“I am honored to take this oath today to represent the residents of the 46th Senate district,” said Amedore. “I ran for office because, like so many people, I did not like the direction the state was heading in. I look forward to working with my new colleagues to reduce the cost of living and doing business in New York, and to making sure our educational system is properly preparing our children for college and career.”
The 46th Senate District is made up of all of Montgomery and Greene Counties, and parts of Schenectady, Albany, and Ulster Counties.
