ALBANY – The second wave of the coronavirus has taken hold in the Hudson Valley with 1,355 new cases reported on Thursday.
Thirteen new deaths were reported as well.
The state also reported 696 people in the region are currently in the hospital. COVID patients as a percent of the region’s population is 0.03 percent, while the seven-day average percent of hospital beds available in the region is 25 percent.
There are 837 ICU beds available in the region with 386 (48 percent) occupied.
