ALBANY – As the coronavirus pandemic continues to take its toll, Governor Cuomo has advice with Thanksgiving around the corner next week – don’t get together with your family for a traditional dinner.

His prediction is that people will not heed his call and the virus spread will spike after the holiday.

“My advice on Thanksgiving don’t be a turkey. You don’t want to be the turkey on Thanksgiving. You know what love is on Thanksgiving? I love you so much and I am so thankful that I’m not going to see you. That’s how you show me you love me. I’m not going to see you. That’s how much I loved you,” he said.

And that is the message Cuomo has for his own elderly mother, that he won’t be spending Thanksgiving with her this year.
