PORT JERVIS – When Kelly Decker began coughing a week ago, he thought it was his seasonal allergies. But, the mayor of the City of Port Jervis, wound up with a severe headache and his temperature rose.
That’s when he went to the local hospital and had a COVID-19 test, which came back positive.
Decker has been quarantined in his home for the past week and is feeling progressively better. “I felt like I was hit by a Mack truck,” he said, and he still has no sense of taste or smell.
