YONKERS- On Saturday, April 20, 2024, Zeldin Cares sponsored a “Boys Wear Ties Too” mentorship brunch for over 30 middle and high school boys in Yonkers, NY.  This event was hosted by Minister Maddie Cheatham of Pamela’s Big Heart Foundation at Yonkers Arts.

Zeldin Cares also partnered with the Youth Shelter Program of Westchester, Anastasia’s Helping Hands, Teens Under Construction, TVA Catering, and Yonkers Peace Mobile to put this event together.  Ties and bowties were donated for this event and various guest speakers were in attendance to inspire the young men in attendance.

Zeldin Cares is proud to provide dozens of young men in Yonkers with the opportunity to interact with, learn from, and build relationships with community mentors. Even further, providing these gentlemen with apparel items like ties can go a long way towards helping them dress for success. Thank you to all of the wonderful partner organizations who helped put this event together,” said Zeldin Cares Chairman Lee Zeldin.
