Shaniece Harris missing since 2017

CARMEL – “I need your help. My daughter has been missing for almost seven years and I need someone to come forward with information,” pleaded Elvia Crump, who has not seen her daughter Shaniece Harris since 2017.

Crump, in an emotional plea at a news conference outside of the The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, asked for the public’s help to solve the case of the disappearance of her daughter.  Her daughter, Shaniece Harris, was last seen around 8:20 p.m. on May 29, 2017.  She was 31 years old when she disappeared and all that was found was her car which was discovered on South Woods Drive in Rock Hill.

Harris was wearing a black and gray hooded sweatshirt with four pockets, black sweatpants, and black Nike Air Max sneakers when she disappeared.

“Put yourself in a parent’s position who has to wake up every single day and not know where their child is and that she walked out and she’s just disappeared,” Crump said.

Harris’s father, Thomas Crump said, “Any way that you can help us bring her home it would be greatly appreciated.”

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for any information concerning her whereabouts.  Tips can be reported to the FBI at 212-384-1000 or the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office at 845-794-7100.
