NYC man arrested by Dutchess Sheriff’s Office for sex crime against child

POUGHKEEPSIE – A New York City man has been arrested by the Dutchess County Sheriff Office in connection with an investigation into the sexual performance of a child.

Daniel Montesdeoca, 19, was arrested on April 11 after a month-long investigation and is accused of inducing a child under the age of 17 to perform sexual acts over the internet.

Montesdeoca was charged with using a child in a sexual performance, promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, and criminal contempt.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
