NEW CITY – Police in New City are investigating the stabbing of a man in a predominately Orthodox neighborhood Thursday night.
It happened around 8:30 at 23 Trailside Place.
Police and K9s combed the scene trying to find a suspect and determine a motive.
Hatzolah ambulance personnel on the scene said the victim was rushed to Westchester Medical Center suffering from several stab wounds, reportedly to his arm and hands.
It was not known as of Thursday night if the attack was random or targeted.
Ramapo and Clarkstown Police and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene.
