LAGRANGE – A disagreement between a landlord and tenant evolved into a person barricaded in a house on Noxon Road Thursday afternoon, resulting in several state troopers responding to the scene. The incident, near the intersection of Smith and Noxon Roads, began shortly after noon on April 11.
Sources close to the standoff say the man is believed to be armed and refusing to leave the 575 Noxon Road address.
Traffic through the area is backed up as motorists come upon the numerous police vehicles lining the shoulder of the road.
Several troopers and investigators were observed at the edge of the very long driveway that leads to the three-bedroom house that sits on a nearly seven-acre parcel of land. Additional troopers with long guns were observed on the side of the house adjacent to the barricaded house.
