Stations of the Cross reenacted

MIDDLETOWN – Hundreds of parishioners participated in the annual Good Friday Stations of the Cross commemoration outside St. Joseph’s Church in Middletown.

Costumed congregants played the roles of Jesus, his followers and the Roman soldiers who marched him, while he carried the large cross, to the crucifixion.

A solemn event, conducted in Spanish, preceded the march down Cottage Street.
