ORANGE COUNTY- Leadership Orange, Orange County’s benchmark leadership development organization, is thrilled to announce the Signature Class of 2024 fundraising event to support the Junior Leadership Orange Program (JLO).
Established in 1992, Leadership Orange has been instrumental in identifying and cultivating emerging leadership talents from various sectors within the county. To date, Leadership Orange boasts over a thousand alumni from both the Signature and JLO Programs. The goal of these programs is to educate students about the numerous challenges and issues in the region and encourage them to use their learned knowledge to enhance the quality of life in Orange County.

Why Your Participation Matters
The Junior Leadership Orange (JLO) program is a completely free program for 8th-grade students across Orange County. This youth empowerment program is designed to provide leadership skills, life skills, career exposure, and preparedness to youth who will potentially become the community leaders of the future. JLO effectively engages youth by challenging them to develop skills, gain critical awareness, and act as community advocates. Funds raised from The Future is Orange 5K will ensure that this program remains free for its participants.
