CORNWALL- Assemblymember Christopher Eachus (D, New Windsor) is hosting an event on Saturday, March 23, 2024, honoring the Extraordinary Women of the 99th Assembly District. This awards event will celebrate the women who have gone above and beyond in their achievements and community service. This is the second annual event Assemblymember Eachus has hosted.
Eight local women will be honored and presented with proclamations at the ceremony:
- Virginia Scott- Cornwall
- Cara Martinisi- New Windsor
- Ellie Kassner- Tomkins Cove
- Raquel Rios Ortiz- Monroe
- Sallie Dorsch- Highland Falls
- Christie McDonald- Cornwall-on-Hudson
- Gina Davis- New Windsor
- Melanie Guerrero- West Point
The event will take place at the New York Military Academy at the Davis Chapel from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
