KINGSTON – A 21-year-old Napanoch man pled guilty in Ulster County Court on February 23 to the felony of possessing a sexual performance by a child.

Dylan Corsette faces up to one and one-third to four years in prison when sentenced in May.

On May 17, 2023, State Police executed a search warrant for Corsette’s cell phone after receiving a CyberTipline report. He was found in possession of several videos and some 564 images showing sexual abuse of children.

Special Victims Bureau Chief Jenna Hastings said Corsette was found in possession of “extremely graphic and stomach-churning child sexual abuse material.” As a result of his conviction, he will have to register as a sex offender.

District Attorney Emmanuel Nneji said possessing or promoting a sexual performance by a child causes harm beyond what the charge suggests. “It often involves human trafficking and various manner of exploitation of children across the globe, along with threats of harm to their families and others.”
