BLOOMINGBURG – A car towing a trailer caught fire around noon on Tuesday in the westbound lane of Route 17 near Bloomingburg. The fire reduced the vehicle to only a shell.
Firefighters closed the westbound lanes while they extinguished the fire.
It is unknown if there were any injuries and the road was reopened by firefighters shortly after the flames were extinguished.
