CORNWALL – Two people were injured Friday afternoon around 4 p.m. when a vehicle ran off the northbound Thruway in the Town of Cornwall and landed on top of a tree.
Two people were injured; one was pinned and had to be extricated before being flown to the hospital. The extent of injuries was not known.
State Police investigated the cause of the incident.
