GOSHEN – Justin Rodriguez, the Orange County government press secretary who sued Deputy County Executive Harry Porr recently over allegations that Porr often made disparaging remarks about his heritage, has settled on the lawsuit and decided to leave his county job, according to his attorney, Christopher Watkins.

The attorney said Rodriguez will pursue other opportunities.

“Justin wishes his colleagues in the county government nothing but the best in the future and he is looking forward to the next chapter in his career,” said Watkins.
