NEW WINDSOR- Avalon Medical Center is proud to announce that Dr. Nickhil Gupta, a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Interventional Spine & MSK Pain Management, has joined our staff.
Dr. Gupta, who has been in practice for the past 10 years in New York City, is now offering his services to the upstate New York Hudson Valley region. He specializes in nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatments of the spine along with musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries. He is known for his bedside manner and compassion and takes great pride in working with patients from diagnosis through their recovery. Dr. Gupta takes a holistic approach to orthopedic care, incorporating medication, physical therapy, minimally invasive interventional spine and trigger point injections, as well as lifestyle adjustments into his treatment plans.

A graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Gupta completed his Internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan before becoming a Resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. He is the author of several peer-reviewed studies and a recognized expert in physical medicine, receiving honors from many distinguished organizations in the field.
Dr. Gupta will be seeing patients every other week at Avalon Medical Center.
