Three arrested for robbing store of Nike clothing

NEW ROCHELLE – Three men were arrested after they allegedly robbed the Snipes Clothing store at 440 North Avenue in the City of New Rochelle.

The store manager told police three men entered t he shop at around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, December 8 and began to load Nike clothing into a garbage bag.

As they fled, one of the men pushed the store manager of the way before they ran out the door.

Witnesses observed the commotion and were able to obtain the license plate of the suspects’ car.

With the help of the Westchester County Police Real Time Crime Center, Yonkers and Mount Vernon Police, New Rochelle detectives were able to develop leads that led to the capture of the men.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Charged with felony robbery was Richard Bailey, 32, of Mount Vernon. Charles Moye, 39, of Yonkers was charged with criminal possession of stolen property as was Curtis Thompson, 40, of Mount Vernon.
