NEW CITY – A 29-year-old Wilmington, Delaware man was sentenced in Rockland County Court to 25 years to life in prison on his jury conviction on murder and weapon possession charges.
On November 24, 2018, Eric Ross confronted the owner of Youbs Auto Sales on Route 59 in West Nyack about a Hyundai Sonata he had recently purchased there.
Ross was upset because he was having issues with the car.
A verbal altercation erupted between Ross and company owner Youbens Joseph during which the dealer said there was nothing he could do for Ross.
Moments later, Ross pulled out a 9mm semi-automatic pistol and shot Joseph to death.
The investigation was conducted by Clarkstown Town Police.
