WALDEN- The law firm of J&G Law, LLP (J&G) is pleased to announce and congratulate Jessica M. Mahoney, a partner concentrating in residential and commercial real estate, who was recognized as an Orange County Rising Star by Junior League of Orange County, NY, Inc. at an awards ceremony on November 15, 2023.

Rising Stars recognizes men and women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills in their community, from the public, private, non-profit and or volunteer sectors.  Their valuable contributions positively impact the county’s quality of life, as they build on the progress of others who have made Orange County an attractive region in the Hudson Valley for families and businesses.

Jessica joined the law firm of J&G Law, LLP in 2022 as a Partner concentrating in residential and commercial real estate law.  Jessica has been practicing law in Orange County, New York for nearly ten years.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in 2011 from Berkeley College in New York, New York.  She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2014 from Albany Law School in Albany, New York.  She has been in solo practice since 2017 until joining J&G Law in 2022.  Jessica is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties.  She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2015. Jessica received an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell in 2022.  Jessica currently serves on the board of Inspire and is a member of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce’s Wellness Committee.  Jessica has dedicated many years volunteering for several organizations including as a Peer Mentor at Berkeley College; Media Intern for Hudson Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America in Newburgh; a Cadet Executive Officer for the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) in Slate Hill; and as a Police Officer Cadet Corps Commander for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Goshen.  Jessica resides in Middletown with her husband and two young children.
