MILLBROOK- The 110th Annual Meeting of Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County will be hosted Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 8 a.m. with a hot breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m.  CCEDC is proud to welcome their new Executive Director, Mary Lou Carolan, who sill speak to the event message, “Impact of Extension.”  The Board of Directors and staff are happy to welcome supporters to the Dutchess County Farm and Home Center at 2715 Route 44 in Millbrook, to review the years’ exceptional service provided throughout Dutchess County this past year.

The public, community members, stakeholders and donors are welcome to review the success of CCEDC’s pursuit of economic vitality, ecological sustainability and social well-being throughout our service area.  The extension also looks forward to organizations and businesses eager to collaborate and support these efforts in any way.

Eligible Dutchess County residents will be voting on the Program Advisory Committee and Board of Directors nominees and appointees, among other items.  You will be asked to confirm your residential status as a part of the voting process.  Details of this will be sent to meeting registrants.

Please join the Board Chair, Lacie M. Reilly and Executive Director, Mary Lou Carolan in celebrating the highlights of success from the past year’s diverse CCEDC community programming.  This annual event will celebrate and recognize the association and individuals who continue to give their best to the mission of Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County.  CCEDC is proud to be recognizing the efforts of SUNY Dutchess and Master Gardener Matt Shayly’s project; partnered with CCEDC and local food pantries of Dutchess Outreach and the Dutchess Community College Pantry to directly provide fresh produce through urban gardening projects during the 2023 growing season.

Personal impact stories from Tomasine Oliphant, MSW, SUNY Dutchess Human Services Program, FCE PAC Member, and former CCEDC Board Member and CCEDC Green Teen Program Manager, Samantha Brittan are also part of this prominent event.

All supporters are welcomed to this annual meeting, so please RSVP by Thursday November 9, 2023, via the website: ccedutchess.org.  Reserving you place is required prior to this event.  For those attendees who are Dutchess County residents, you will be asked to confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, and qualify as an enrollee in accordance with Article IV, Section 1 of the Association Constitution by being a county resident.
