GOSHEN – Manufacturing is on the rise and the Orange County Partnership is marketing the opportunities to grow jobs in the county.
It is a new form of manufacturing, not the old smokestack kind, said Partnership President Maureen Halahan.
“I mean manufacturing in clean energy, I mean manufacturing in cannabis, I mean agribusiness, food and beverage, and now we are really focused on advanced manufacturing for supply chains,” she said.
And Halahan says all of those categories are falling into place with several successes to date and others on the drawing boards.
