Sixteen-year-old charged with driving over 100 mph with nine passengers

NEW LEBANON – State Police in New Lebanon have arrested a woman for driving a 2019 Honda Civic on Route 20 in Columbia County while doing over 100 miles per hour with 10 people in the car.

Luckily, no one was injured, not even the two in the trunk of the small car.

The driver was charged with four counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law as a felony.

She was ticketed returnable to town court and all the underage occupants – nine juvenile including four under 16, were turned over to responsible guardians.
