POUGHKEEPSIE – A raid on Thursday by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force in the City of Poughkeepsie resulted in three arrests and the seizure of drugs and cash.  The search warrant execution took place at 339 Mansion Street.

According to Sheriff’s Detective Sergeant Adam Harris, 43-year-old Dyani Sanders, Tami Halloran, 44, and Kimberley Smith, 58, were arrested at the scene.  Sanders was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and held pending arraignment in the City of Poughkeepsie.  Halloran, wanted on an existing Dutchess County Court warrant for the criminal sale of a controlled substance, was taken into custody and held for another arraignment.  Smith was wanted by the Town of Poughkeepsie Police in relation to a stolen property crime. She was turned over to the town police for further processing.

The raid, according to the detective sergeant, resulted in the seizure of fentanyl, cocaine, and cash.  “Our unit will respond to overdose deaths by arresting drug dealers selling poison in our communities,” he said.
