Child dies after being locked in car

SPRING VALLEY – A child who was locked in a car for hours in Spring Valley late Tuesday afternoon has died, emergency services personnel report.

The victim was found in a vehicle at 25 Ridge Avenue.

Police and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation were called to the scene along with a medical examiner.
