CLARKSTOWN – A three-vehicle crash around 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 13 left one person dead, State Police said.
The accident occurred on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway near exit 10 in the Town of Clarkstown.
Troopers said preliminary investigation found that a 1992 BMW, a 2001 BMW, both with New Jersey license plates, and a 2023 Nissan Rogue with New York plates, collided for unknown reasons.
The driver of the 2001 BMW, identified as Cyrus Silverio, 20, of Hackensack, New Jersey, was pronounced dead at the scene along with his dog.
State Police are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the crash or who may have witnessed it to call Senior Investigator Carmen Goffredo at 845-3443-5300.
