Napanoch woman arrested for aggravated vehicular assault and DWAI drugs after accident

NAPANOCH- A Napanoch woman has been charged in connection with a February 2023 accident that injured three people.

Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office responded in the Town of Marbletown to a motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles.  Upon arrival, deputies located the vehicles in the roadway and EMS personnel began treating the occupants who were injured in the crash.

Three individuals were transported from the scene to HealthAlliance St. Mary’s Campus in Kingston and MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for treatment of their injuries.  

Police believe Nancy Naccarato, 55, of Napanoch, who was driving one of the vehicles, was impaired by drugs at the time of the crash.

On April 1, 2023, Naccarato was charged with the felonies of aggravated vehicular assault and driving while ability impaired by drugs, as well as the misdemeanor of reckless driving.  

Naccarato was arraigned in the Town of Ulster Court where she was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail.
