RAMAPO – An 18-year-old woman has been charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in the death of another person.
Ramapo Police did not release the suspect’s name because of her age.
Before 1 a.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2022, police found a 52-year-old Monsey woman dead in a wooded area adjacent to West Carlton Road where it was determined she had been struck and killed by a vehicle that had left the scene.
On this Monday, April 3, Ramapo Police crash investigators arrested the driver of the vehicle. She was arraigned and released without bail.
