WASHINGTON– Congressman Pat Ryan announced the launch of the Community Project Funding (CPF) process, which is now open to local governments and non-profits for 2024.  The CPF process allows localities and non-profits to submit requests for direct federal funding for high-priority community projects in New York’s 18th Congressional District.

“The federal government works best when it works directly on behalf of the communities that it serves,” said Congressman Pat Ryan.  “These community-funded projects are a great opportunity to make sure this district’s priorities are met, and I look forward to delivering this much-needed funding to local governments and nonprofits across the Hudson Valley.”

CPF is available only to nonprofit organizations and to state, local, tribal, and territorial governments.  In addition, only projects with evidence of strong support from the community will be considered, and evidence of community support and community need is necessary.

Community Project Funding requests must be submitted to Ryan’s office by the close of business on March 17, 2023, to be considered.
