ROSCOE – Roscoe Beer Company has announced a new partnership with Sullivan-based craft beer distributor Gasko & Meyer. Accordingly, products will now be available statewide to cover the high demand for Roscoe Beer Co.’s craft beers and will continue to increase the brewery’s presence throughout New York State.

Phil and Donna Vallone, owners of Roscoe Beer Co., are excited about the new partnership and business opportunity.

“It just made sense to us to build this partnership with Sullivan-based distributor Gasko & Meyer. Their commitment to both independent craft brewers and mission to grow the New York craft beer market made them the ideal fit for our award-winning beer,” said Phil Vallone. “They have a professional, well-trained, and knowledgeable team that is highly focused on customer service. We are looking forward to the future with Gasko & Meyer.”

Gasko & Meyer, Inc. is a fourth-generation beverage distributor based in Sullivan County. With their long history as a craft beer distributor, they pride themselves in being small and family-owned.

“I have a lot of respect for what Phil Vallone and his team have built over the past ten years. We both call Sullivan County home, and we are excited to partner with the Roscoe crew to both expand their distribution locally and throughout the state. It’s the first time in our 84-year history that we have the opportunity to distribute beer brewed locally in our home county,“ said Bruce Nober, President & CEO of Gasko & Meyer.

Roscoe Beer Co’s award-winning beers have made headlines in recent years, winning two medals at the 23rd Annual TAP NY Beer Competition — Gold for “Weekend at Birdies” in the Wild Ales & Sours category and Bronze for “Raging Bear Stout” in the Imperial Stout category. Their Brown Ale won two gold medals at the NY State Craft Beer Competition, and Two-Headed Stout won craft beer of the year in the Governor’s Challenge.

Part of their great success is their amazing brew team made up of Corey McKeon, Eric Schwartz, and Bill Vernold, who recently returned to Roscoe Beer Co. Bill Vernold was instrumental in shaping the original Roscoe Beer brews back in 2013 when the brewery first launched their flagship brew, American Amber Ale.

“People who are visiting the brewery have such a great experience in our tasting room that we are very excited to be able to bring our award-winning products to the shelves in their hometown now,” says Shannon Feeney, operations manager at Roscoe Beer Co. “This new partnership will help us connect with our followers in every corner of the beautiful Empire State.”
