SOUTH SPRING VALLEY – Four people are in the Rockland County Jail following their arrests on Sunday morning for allegedly committed an armed home invasion robbery at a residence in South Spring Valley.
Ramapo Town Police arrested the four as they were attempting to flee the area after the 5 a.m. assault in which one person sustained several injuries.
Police arrested Isaac Chulca-Rojas, 38, of Plainfield, New Jersey; Christian Lema Leon, 40, of Haverstraw; Marco Sumba-Salto, 41, also of Haverstraw; and Fabian Velesaca-Urena, 41, of Queens.
They were all charged with the felonies of robbery, gang assault, assault, and grand larceny; and misdemeanors of criminal possession of a weapon, conspiracy, and menacing.
Police located an Airsoft replica handgun believed to have been discarded by the suspects.
Ramapo Police were assisted by Clarkstown Police, a Clarkstown K-9 unit, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
