POUGHKEEPSIE – Forty-six-year-old Raymond White was arrested on December 2, 2022, after an investigation by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force. White was taken into custody after the task force executed a search warrant at a Weed Street location and found the suspect to be in possession of crack cocaine and an unspecified amount of cash.
White’s arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation into drug sales in the Weed Street neighborhood.
White was arrested and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. He was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. He was released after bail was posted.
The task force was assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office K-9 and Emergency Services Unit, and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.
