UPDATE… Fatal stabbing involved a domestic incident, police say

STONY POINT – Police in the Town of Stony Point have a suspect in custody in connection with the early morning homicide on Sunday.

Officers responded to a residence on Willow Grove Road for a person who had been stabbed to death.

Police now said it stemmed from a domestic incident and that a suspect is in custody.

The incident remains under investigation and there is no threat to the public, police said.
