PEARL RIVER – Orangetown Police are investigating an early morning hit-and-run motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on East Central Avenue in Pearl River.
The incident occurred at around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, November 13.
Police said Adan Valentin Huerta Martinez, 51, of Hillsdale, New Jersey, was crossing the road in the area of 50 East Central Avenue when he was struck by a black four-door sedan traveling east. He was transported to Montefiore Nyack Hospital in stable condition.
Orangetown Police continue to investigate and ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision or can provide additional information to call them at 845-359-3700.
