TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Police in the Town of Newburgh are investigating a late Friday afternoon robbery of the Bank of America branch at 1414 Route 300.

Police said at around 4:40 p.m., a man entered the bank, threatened the use of a gun and demanded money from the teller.

He fled on foot north on Route 300.

The robber is described as being white, five-feet, five inches to five-feet-seven inches tall, with a thin build, and long, dirty blonde hair.

Detectives with Town of Newburgh Police are investigating the incident and are seeking the public’s assistance.
