TOWN OF WOODBURY – Three Republican Woodbury officials have formally endorsed State Senator James Skoufis, a Democrat, for re-election.

He will face Dorey Houle, a Republican, in next week’s election. She is a Monroe town councilwoman.

But, Woodbury Village Mayor Andrew Giacomazza and Village Trustees Deputy Mayor Tara Burek and Christopher Graziano, all Republicans, have thrown their support to Skoufis.

“Working closely with James and his team in recent years, I know there is no one better suited to continue representing the best interests of Woodbury’s families in Albany and t continue delivering for Orange County,” said Giacomazza.

Up for grabs is the new 42nd State Senate District which comprises most of Orange County.
