NEWBURGH – The boil water notice in the City of Newburgh has been lifted by the Orange County Department of Health.

All repairs have been completed and the required testing of the water system has shown the absence of coliform.

Anyone with question about utilizing their water can call the city water department at 845-565-3356 or the county health department at 845-291-2331.

Meanwhile, Little Britain Road has been repaired and reopened between Wisner Avenue and Cerone Place. It had been closed because of the water main breaks.
