MID-HUDSON – Four surgeons from the Hudson Valley will be joining a mission to Ukraine to provide reconstructive surgical care to victims who have been injured as a result of the continuing invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

The doctors – Grigoriy Mashkevich, Augustine Moscatello, Manoj Abraham, and Bruce Moskowitz, will be part of the team from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The humanitarian program was created in collaboration with the academy and non-profit organizations Razom for Ukraine and INgenius.

The team is comprised of surgeons, nurses, and support staff.

To help support the mission, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is accepting contributions to offset the medical supplies, equipment, and inter-country security and travel.
