TOWN OF HIGHLAND – A Port Jervis man was killed in a one-car crash on Route 55 in the Town of Highland.
State Police said Jason Reed, Jr., 22, was driving a 2022 Subaru-RX at around 10:20 p.m. on Friday, August 19 when he lost control, left the road and struck an embankment.
He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead.
A passenger, Michael Denlinger, 21, was transported by ambulance to Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill for treatment of a head injury and later released.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is continuing.
