BULLVILLE – A 39-year-old Pine Bush man was killed on Friday in a three-car crash at the intersection of Route 17K and Roue 302 in Bullville.
Crawford Town Police report a 1995 Chevrolet van driven by Shawn Dehann, 33, was traveling eastbound on Route 17K when he entered the intersection with Route 302.
A 2005 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Samantha Meyer, 42, of Pine Bush was traveling southbound on Route 302 and collided with the van in the intersection.
The Equinox then struck a 2018 Honda Civic traveling northbound on Route 302 driven by Francoise Pierre, 78, of Walden.
Jeffrey Griffin, a front seat passenger in the Equinox was transported to Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill where he died from his injuries.
Meyer suffered injuries to her neck and back and was treated at Garnet.
Pierre was not injured.
Crawford Police were assisted at the scene by State Police, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Pine Bush and Circleville Fire Departments and Town of Wallkill and Montgomery Ambulance Corps.
The investigation is continuing and any witnesses are asked to call Crawford Town Police at 845-744-3300.
