HAVERSTRAW – A haz-mat team was called to the Bowline electric generating plant in Haverstraw for a reported explosion inside a building with an active fire.
The Thiells Fire Department responded to the call that was believed to be electrical in nature.
The call came in just after 11 a.m. on Thursday. Haverstraw Town Police said the incident was winding down around 2 p.m.
