NEW ROCHELLE – A 20-year-old New Rochelle man lost his life when his motorcycle was involved in an accident with a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Echo Avenue, New Rochelle Police said.
City Police said the accident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 17. The motorcyclist, identified as Kristopher Johnson, was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 1:30 Monday morning.
The driver of the car, a New Rochelle resident, remained on location and cooperated with officers.
The New Rochelle Police Traffic Unit is investigating the cause of the accident.
