SAUGERTIES – A 26-year-old Saugerties resident has been arrested on felony charges after making a threat against a police officer in June. The arrest warrant was executed on July 8, 2022, at 7:15 p.m.
Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said that Masani Gordon was arrested on the felony charge of making terroristic threats.
Gordon allegedly called the Town of Saugerties Supervisor’s office in June and threatened to shoot a Saugerties police officer. The detective division investigated the incident which resulted in Gordon’s arrest.
Gordon was processed at Saugerties Police Headquarters and then arraigned in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court. He was remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
