NEWBURGH – Earlier this week the Newburgh school system delayed classes by two hours after a threat of violence.
Now, on Thursday evening, the district received a non-specific threat directed at the NFA Main Campus.
A statement by school administration said that out of an abundance of caution the district ended events early at NFA Main Campus Thursday night, with support from local law enforcement. Everyone exited calmly and safely, they said.
“We are working in collaboration with law enforcement agencies to assess this threat,” the statement said.
