KINGSTON – A 47-year-old woman was struck and killed by a freight train in the City of Kingston late Saturday night and police believe the incident may have been a suicide.

The victim, whose name has not been made public pending notification of relatives, was believed to have lived in Ulster County for a short period of time, Det. Lt. Patrick Buono said.
